My name is Shantrice Taylor. I am an Atlanta native. My journey in fitness and health started as a child. I was the girl who looked forward to field day in school and won all the relay and fitness tests. Growing up in a southern household I saw firsthand what common diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and cancer can do to your body. This led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at Georgia State. I then became an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist with other certifications within the ISSA in the categories of Fitness Trainer, Nutrition, and Corrective Exercise. After college, I started out working in the corporate wellness industry for 3 years. Still, the need to become more hands-on led me to transition to industrial fitness working in the physical therapy field as an Injury Prevention Specialist where I've been for the past 3 years to date. As a Flexologist at StretchLab, I aim to use my knowledge and expertise to connect with people and help others become their best selves and live the long lives they deserve.
